That's dubious at best. In the Camaro, the iPod does all the decoding and just sends the raw audio across. Not sure of the DSP/decoder that the PDIM module has, but you may be better off with a USB drive since the iPod's DSP is mediocre. The audio is converted to analog and sent from the PDIM to the head unit anyways.

I dont know, there is a huge difference in sound between connecing the usb port of my zune, to using the headphone jack for playback, unless thats just the zune (which Ive felt has always been superior for music anyways). I got so mad at the usb failure that I started using the 3.5mm jack, and it sounds like $hit, so now I use CDs again, like Im in the 90's.
