I worked in Minnesota one winter. The contractor had to put heaters in the Porta-Poties so the blue water didn't freeze. It has to get pretty damn cold before the blue water freezes. So, yes, words came out slurred.
We worked one day where you couldn't see your hand at arms length for the snow falling. Sent my crew home after morning break. Running welders in a snowstorm wasn't the best idea, but we had to try.
It really is a beautiful state with the lakes and rivers.
And breakfasts I will never forget.
