Ha no worries, giving you a hard time. I know how it goes, I've got quite a bit of very bumpy footage from car and bike.
Hmm I didn't have MCS on my radar until now. Options seem so limited for the Camaro platform. Either stuff made by companies that focus on classic muscle cars or KW, Penske and Ohlins. MCS looks to be a better alternative. I saw rumor that MCS was started by the same folks that were at MOTON, then JRZ, now MCS.
Are you thinking of running MCS with your Z/28 springs, or changing that as well?
I'm more in the camp for less spring rate than more, for better compliance. I'll take a little more body roll over a nervous skittering ride overheating tires.
I think it's really cool that MCS offers a single adjustable option for reasonable money, that is later upgradeable to a remote can for proper double adjust if needed. 2750 is pretty cheap for this level of quality damper.

When braking it feels as if there is a 50% increase in braking power bite and ability as well as a smoother transition.
The other component of note is the sintered metallic pads and the use of them on the Carbon Ceramic Rotors. I ran the CCR for an entire season and now have switched to the Racing Brake Sintered Pads and have seen their claim of the sintered pad adding a layer to the CCR as well as healing the fractures caused by the OEM pad. I ran the car for 6+ hours at the last event at Buttonwillow 13CW in both Time Trial and Race Group sessions ranging from 20-35 mins each over 2 days. The brakes responded flawlessly every session. There were no instances of brake fade and the brakes had very aggressive bite. I have a little over a millimeter left on the pads on all 4 corners.
I consider braking still one of the areas of most improvement as a racer and for faster lap times however my previous best time was a 2:04 and I was able to trim that down to a 1:55.

Wow what a review for your braking system. What more can you hope for - reliably powerful consistent brakes. Being able to rely on that and focus on everything else is quite a blessing. Are there no issues with the ABS calibration on the Z/28 when achieving a much higher grip level/braking force than designed?
Thanks for sharing all this. It's refreshing and enjoyable to see a car used for something I can relate to and care about.
