Arai makes Nice Helmets. However, Helmets have different shapes as their are different Head shapes - the Best thing to do is find a place that sells helmets so you can try them on to find the best one for your Noggin!
If you are just starting A/Xing, most Clubs have Loaner Helmets. Try that 1st in case you don't like A/X and then haven't spent the $$.
$800 is pricey for a 1st time Helmet when you are just starting. I have been racing for for 30 Years and am on my 5th Helmet. I like Bell Helmets (they fit me well) and my current Helmet is a Carbon Fibre with Custom Paint
