D = Regular drive (computer shifts the car)
M = Sport Mode (computer shifts the car)
M (Sport Mode) becomes (Manual Mode) as soon as you touch the paddle shifters. In manual mode you have to shift the car yourself.
Holding the TC button down for 7+ seconds turns off the traction control and stability track. This can be used with all the different modes.
Most guys seem to be using M (Sport Mode) with the TC turned off at the track.
