Unless you're willing to drop coin for a Valentine or an Escort or something else in that price range, be prepared to listen to a lot of noise from false reports. As in most things, you get what you pay for. I have a 7 year old Escort 9500ix that's saved me many times, but with collision avoidance technology in newer vehicles, false reports are on the rise. I'm looking to upgrade to possibly an Escort Max or Redline. No doubt someone will surely post about their amazing $99 Whistler that is second to none, but don't fall for it.
