I think the Challenger is going to be getting a boost soon. Its top model can't compete with the Z28 and GT500.

The 1st gen wasn't as fast or as light as the legends that seem to surround them. No car from the 60's really. 1st gen cars with full interiors and big block chevy's with aluminum heads(which would be the closest performance to the current SS) are pushing 3600 lbs.
