I agree. I also think GM's marketing missed a little. They targeted track day junkies too much for the Z/28. Meanwhile, Ford's marketing correctly marketed their GT350/GT350R simply as a very special version of the Mustang.
It's shame that Z/28 didn't receive a big cult following like the car deserves. I'm hoping this new 6th gen Z/28 gets it when it comes out.
