The break in period is for the new forged pistons, ring , rods, bearings, etc.

I was just planning on swapping my rear cog pulleys at the same time but wondering if it would be safe to drive (steady under 3k shifts) with the added boost in the meantime.

If the answer is definitely no than I guess I just need to go through his break in period before swapping pulleys.
Its just that the rear cogs on the maggies are a PITA.
