The guy said the 2011 mustang will have more power in both V8 and V6 form. Not true. And peak hp numbers for the 5.0l motor don't tell the whole story, plus the mustang in the article was noted to have a 200lb weight DISADVANTAGE to the M3, which comes in around 3500.
3500+200=3700=new mustang will gain weight. That reduces the advantage to 150 lbs for the mustang over the camaro, which is not much. As I said, it won't take much for the Camaro to stay ahead of the Mustang, although it will certainly be closer. I'm sorry this turned into another Mustang thread, I hope somebody deletes all these posts discussing the Mustang in here (including mine).
