Looks to me like it says V8 on it, probably a test item so that in case anybody opened the hood...They always said it was an 8 in the old days, but never which one....I don't think that is the production one at all....They did say however that there would be custom covers for the car from GM to match body color, etc....We shall see, but I would guess that that cover is just one for the mules as a CYA in case somebody got the hood open to prevent folks from figuring out which V8 it was....
