Morimoto is the only one i can speak for. I love the darker fog lamp back round when off or on since the upper half of fog doesn't light up. The lamp is designed to be a true fog lamp since the light beam projects down and not up to on coming traffic. Its a lot brighter then the stock fog lamp. And the color of light matches the HIDS nicely. The LED light color and brightness give the fog lamps an upscale appearance like the newer cars of today have.
