Sorry for bring this thread back to life again, but I have to say that if this works, it has to be one of the best inexpensive mods for these cars, and I wish I had come across it years ago.
My car, due to its motor and cam, can be a tad of a nuisance to drive in particular situations. When on hills, its harder to find the proper gas clutch combo to smoothly take off as we all know is the case with cammed/modded cars...but when the stupid hill assist is thrown into the mix, it complicates things even more.
OP, thanks for posting. I'm ordering mine now.
After reading all 10 pages, it appears that only one person was having issues after installing the automatic sensor and his car was a 2015. He mentioned though that after switching back to his stock sensor, the issues he was having went away. I figure for $70-80 bucks, this is at least worth a shot.
