He couldn't be any more correct about this. When I was in high school, a lot of people that went there were in the Upper Middle Class (yea, it was 14 years ago, it was definitely more of a thing back then), and most of the kids had all these nice cars that were practically new. As for me? I had a little white Dodge Neon r/t that I was able to get for $2,500 since I worked hard since I was 14.
A lot of people would go out and buy the "coolest" cars and think that was going to help them. But, it truly is all about personality. If you're young the fact that you have a car is one step ahead of most people. I'm not saying to change who you are. Be yourself. I am one goofy person that likes to joke around a lot. I never stop being myself no matter who I am around. People can see when someone is not being genuine.
But take it from someone that has been there. I have been with more than my share of women through my years, because I was one shallow s.o.b. At one point it was more like a game with me and my friends, just to prove that I was better at it then they were. IT'S NOT WORTH IT! Even today I look back on it, and there were a couple that I let go that I wish I would have never left.
Long story short: Its definitely not the car, its the driver. It's not about quantity, its about quality. If you find someone that you truly like, stick with it and make it work. Being able to say you got with x amount of women isn't cool after 22. And even then it is only cool to your boys. In the meantime mod your camaro, because date nights add up really quickly.
