Today, I cut open the PF48E filter after the first oil change -- just validating what I expected -- some metal, etc for an initial setup up. Looked typical and no big parts ;o)

When I cut the filter open, you could see the 'silver streak' that comes out after an initial break in of an engine. When I drained the engine oil, I did not have a 'magnetic' plug, but, didn't see any big material. I'll add one the next time -- did order the Blackstone kit to test it from here on in.
