The good and bad is that there are lots of choices. So many choices that it takes a good bit of reading to figure out what to buy for your needs, budget, etc.. There are trade offs too. You can substitute a larger tire that costs less and get performance gains thru size rather than higher tech expensive tires. I looked at getting wheels and getting a less expensive tire. I took the higher tech tire path. I haven't driven it hard yet and don't know if it was worth it or not. I could have bought some tires for almost half of what these cost.
