Yeah, it's interesting to read road test reviews from 2009 to see what people didn't like about the new Camaro. I think it's got a very usable trunk, and the visibility complaints seem a bit over-stated to me. To me, the Camaro would have missed the mark if it had the interior refinements of a Mercedes and the effortless clutching and shift feel of a Honda. One of my favorite things about my car is that it manages to feel like a muscle car from back in the day, but is as safe as any other newer car on the road. The younger people complaining that it's not as smooth at idle, or about this or that can't possibly be expected to understand the Camaro. And I like that it's wide and heavy and impractical and unrefined in some areas. Chevy connected pretty well with it's target market. It's definitely not a rattletrap, thrown-together vehicle. It is possible that the OP got a "bad one"- some cars just don't seem to come out right from the factory. And maybe I just got lucky and got a great one. But from what I have observed, the vast majority of owners are thrilled with their Camaros. Also, some people approach things from a negative perspective, dwelling on the negatives instead of celebrating the positives.
