It's possible you were sliding the front tires if you pumped the brakes hard a couple times before activating it. There has been cases of brakes not holding and pushing through them before. You can always bleed your brakes more and verify there is good fluid in the lines and no leaks and have good pads.

I've seen instances where starting a burnout too slow can grip the track too much with the rear tires and push it forward a little or if there's not enough water to help the rear tires spin.
