You could pay sticker for your car or you could give the dealer $20k over the sticker price. My point is price is going to vary by market and by installer. Me being an installer (for 6+ years now) I know what the average going rate is and I know what the material cost is. I have been to 36 states this year for work so I am familiar with the market and what the rates vary at. You may pay one installer more (hopefully because they can do better work) or you can pay another installer less for a half ass job. Unfortunately I have seen some really outrageous prices for half ass work... and $1900 for the hood and bumper is insane. If I were you I would not pay that much for an install. Tell the installer that for a partial hood, partial fenders, full bumper, lights, and mirrors he should be getting anywhere between $700-$850. That is still profitable for him without ripping you off as a customer. My full rate for the Camaro is $1500... which includes full hood, full fenders, full bumper, lights, mirrors, rocker panels, lower doors, rear fenders, and rear splash wells. And I still make some money for that job. So you can see that installer is WAY over priced... way over priced. But that in no way reflects the rst of the market.

Do you mind me asking who the installer is? I am not familiar with any good ones out of Kansas... but that doesnt mean there arent any.
