Or, they could have, you know, done the right thing... Crazy concept. They should have put WAY more engineering staff and resources on this issue a LONG time ago... as in years ago. Guys on this board have had good success by zeroing out the slip tables in the TCM. Why couldn’t GM figure that out? A great opportunity was missed by not offering to extend the torque converter warranty on anyone who was affected. GM would have earned a ton of goodwill and loyalty from the Camaro community. But instead, here we are waiting for a possible fix... in 2019.
