If you bought the V6 than obviously performance wasn't your top focus, I find it amazing that people these days consider a car that runs a 14.3 quarter mile slow (which I guess is a fair statement when you consider the amount of HP they put in 'grocery getters' these days), you have to remember that the V6's you mentioned competed directly against V8's in their respective years and were some of the best engines around. The V6 camaro is no slouch but anytime you begin to compare you've already lost, as BackinBlackSS stated perfectly, there's always a faster car out there. Take pride in your car, make it unique in the way you see fit and love it for how it is, if you have the resources turbo or supercharge it, but put things into perspective- you bought the V6 model not the V8
