I ran 10-12psi every day for 12,000 miles on a 100% bone stock L99 and 14psi a couple times playing with it. Did I get lucky every single day racing everything on the road for 12,000 miles? I know a couple other guys doing it too for quite a while now. Nooooo problems at all. And a bunch of truck guys with the same AFM lifters with no problems. Old wives tails usually made up by shops that have blown up peoples cars. The key is you have to do things right.
