So I did find the solution to this, for anyone with this problem in the future.

To enable the Bluetooth music playback in any 2014-2015 LS model we have to change the entire radio unit to one that supports it. So far the only place I was able to find that can do such a feat and have the proper instructions/harness to do so was Gen5DIY. Contacting them, they were able to let me know the procedure and required parts. But it was over $1,000 and I didn’t follow through with it. Just a $30 Bluetooth recover does the work which connects to the 3.5mm AUX port and a USB port (I use a 2x USB charger) for easiest playback without a cable.
