5th Gen Camaro features new Ram Air Hood and Aerodynamics Package
Seattle, Washington. -- March 30, 2010 – PFYC today unveiled their latest project vehicle, the 2010 Sinister Camaro Concept. The Sinister Camaro Concept transforms the newly redesigned 5th Generation Camaro from an already aggressive performance coupe to an intimidating menace, showcasing a design that accentuates existing styling cues.
Sinister features a new Ram Air Hood, Dovetrail Rear Spoiler and an aggressive Aerodynamics Package. “The Sinister Camaro further demonstrates our commitment to the new 5th Generation Camaro,” said Mike Lewis, co-founder and CEO of PFYC.com. “What we’ve unveiled today is the beginning of an ongoing project to develop a full compliment of performance and styling accessories for this modern muscle car.”
The Sinister Camaro Ram Air Hood is shown in carbon fiber and features functional flow to the air intake as well as underhood heat extraction. The Dovetail Rear Spoiler is also shown in carbon fiber and is a bolt on replacement for the factory spoiler utilizing the existing mounting holes in the decklid.
“Our designer really tied this package together nicely. It integrates seamlessly with the elements of design already present” says Lewis. “Each line, radius and element of the Sinister Camaro components has been carefully crafted to enhance what the original design engineers sculpted.”
The Aerodynamics package includes a front air dam with functional brake duct cooling vents, side skirts and a rear fascia with a GT inspired diffuser.
Finished in the factory Inferno Orange Metallic paint, the hood and rear spoiler stripes are displayed by the exposed carbon fiber and utilize a matte clear coat as do the rest of the black accents. Rounding out the look is a set of Foose “Speed” wheels in machined/matte black finish.
“Early feedback has been extremely positive. We’ve already pulled the car back into the shop to start on the next phase” said Lewis. “As we’ve done with previous projects, we’ll keep adding to our product line for the new Camaro continuously.”
