I know it could be a safety issue, but set a minimum age, give mom or dad guidelines on protocol, maybe a specific corner where they're well away from the course when clear... and especially communicate to the drivers that
corner workers ALWAYS have right-of-way
even if it means messing up their run... can always fast track the driver back to the front of the line for a clean run.
I'm just brainstorming here, if it seems like a bad idea shoot it down.... no offense
