I did have a guy at the dealership tell me my car wasn't an RS, he was a customer waiting in line in the service area when I picked my Camaro up after a few cosmetic mods. He told me I should remove the red SS on my grill.
Here is an older pic of my car from June....
It's a 2011 2SS/RS. I had 21" wheels put on, high wing rear spoiler, and white SS badges to replace the bowtie on the front grill and the back. I removed the red SS from the rear of the car but left the small front red SS on the grill on the side. To this guy that nullified my RS package and tried to tell me my car is now a 1SS. The funny part was he was trying to be really polite about it and was worried he might offend me.
He kept telling me "I don't mean for you to take this the wrong way but..."
He was so nice I didn't have the nerve to bring him down a notch.
