The hefty, ballsy, strong-braking Camaro should be safe for towing a lot more than 1000 pounds. Is it really rated only for 1000? It's got enough weight and enough footprint to handle more weight safely, enough brake to stop more weight, and surely a tough enough transmission for the job.

I was thinking about it too. I was thinking maybe I could afford a Camaro if I sell my truck and get a hitch so I can drag some firewood / my little boat / some lumber / my trash to the dump...I'd have to give up my camper, though.
