Honestly man, I don't think you needs lawyer. Given the nature of this incident your insurance company is going to do everything they can to make gm or the dealership pay rather than you. They have more than enough lawyers on staff to bug the hell out of gm/dealer.
There has to be a police report for the accident. Even if gm/dealer isn't liable the driver of the car is.
Just like if you borrow a friends car and crash it, your insurance would be expected to pay.
