The shop manager (GM Goodwrench) informed me that lowering the car would only void a suspension related problem.
Take that for what it's worth, which ain't much! But, if the engine failed, clearly no fault of lowering springs and aftermarket sways, it would be covered. Radio goes out - covered. But YOU need to ask YOUR dealer/shop how they look at it.
