Whenever you have to much new viewers who haven't been keeping up are lost and don't watch any more, that's what causes series like these to be canceled....SVU is an example of that.....

That's why there's Netflix, et al. You can watch the series from day one. Plus, I'm betting that at some point, they'll do another marathon for those that don't have a clue to DVR (I guess tape is a dinosaur term now) the "marathons" and catch up that way.
They keep growing their fan base. Most already have clues based on the comic books, but there's also the "just now figuring it out that it's a cool series" crowd as well.
Can't wait. The writing is very good and the twists and mysteries keep on coming...
