I see that statement everywhere. Youtube, other forums, this forum, and I've never seen anyone explain it thoroughly. Ever.
From my understanding there are two main culprits:
1. Small diameter, poor traction tires (even the SRT/Hellcat 275s are too small for the torque).

2. The LX chassis dates back to 2002 (when MB developed the original the LX is based off)

The LX chassis is simply not rigid enough to cope with the powerplant. The 5 link rear setup just does not have strength with it's stamped steel units to cope and this produces excessive wheel hop. You can of course fix issues with tires, weak links and control arms with aftermarket units, but still be left with a chassis far too behind in technology compared to it's rivals.
