Actually 3M makes a great rubbing compound for stuff like this. Actually had a few scratches on my truck (dark blue) that was threw to the paint, and it lightened them up a lot. Barley can see them, won't even noticed them if you didn't know it was there.

3M Perfect-It II, it works really well. And a product a lot of body shops use, as well as the dealers detailing facility. Its by Crest. Hi-Solv.

Edit: The Hi-Solv is more for removing scuffs. Plastic rubbed the paint etc. not sure it works on scratches.
