The toe link has a plain bolt on one end and the toe adjusting eccentric on the other end. If the technician marked the eccentric theoretically the alignment would be unchanged. In theory. If one of the toe links was tweaked from a bad bump, your alignment is off. If the OE am is slightly different in length on center your alignment is off.
