No need for Cadillac Racing lifters. Ive read more fail story on em then stock ones. Rockers are very very safe.

I think they had bad caddy R batch and its not the same size as LS7, you need longer pushrods with R lifters, so plp were maybe having valvetrain failure cause of that.. Dont upgrade unless going with bushings.

LS7 lifters, mill the heads and thats it!

But lifting heads...I could not resist to get at leastGMPP ported heads. Sell your stock casting. Bump the comp a bit too while at it, but dont run too big of a cam; stock intake valves are huge and will hit pistons.

A good uograde for peace of mind is Lunati link bar lifter; 100-150$ more than LS7 but its and safe and efficient design. Mesure pushrods, not the same length as LS7 too.
