If you have a 2010-11 SS the 1LE will be a huge improvement. Not so much with the 2012+ SS. But like aggieguy13 was saying the 1LE has a lot of very nice parts on it. Just the 3.91 gears and transmission make it worth the cost let alone ALL the other stuff you get wih it.
If the 1LE was out back when I ordered my 2SSRS I would have one now.
From what I have seen a stock 1LE will spank a stock SS in a drag-race (better gears better trans. gears and better tires.
