[QUOTE=TheBracketeer;10590842]Hey everyone,
I'm new to this thread ... thanks for the great info John, it really helped my decision making process.
I am just about to fit these new Forgestar D5 17x10 Beadlocks on the rear and 18x8 on the front.
I'm going to fit M/T ET Street R 305/45R17's on the back (28.1" tall).
I would appreciate some feedback on the front tires.
Do I go for a 245/45R18 (which will be 27.6" tall)?
- Nitto Invo (104W - 149mph / 1984 lbs rating)
- Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 (100Y - 186mph / 1764 lbs rating)
- Pirelli P-Zero (100Y - 186mph / 1764 lbs rating)
Or a 235/50R18 (which will be 28.2" tall)?
- Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 (100W - 168mph / 1764 lbs rating)
- Nexen B-Fera SU1 (104W - 149mph / 1984 lbs rating)
- Pirelli P-Zero PZ4 (100V - 149mph / 1764 lbs rating)
I have had Invo's on the car before and they were good, however I am really tempted to give the Firehawks a go ... they have the best reviews out of all of them and are incredibly well priced ($106 vs. $200 for the Nittos).
I decided on 225-55-18 Cooper Evolution Tour.
27.76 and according to Cooper, only 26 pounds.
Might not be enough tire for you. I’m not Whippled😁
98H 130mph 1653 pounds.
