Completely diffferent ballgame now a days.

While you still might want to check your header bolts after install, most often once retorqued, they tend to stay put.

Shorty headers are great with some hi flow cats and make decent power while keeping "within emissions" standards.

Ask as many questions before the purchase, ask those who have bought, and ask those who have had them installed for some time.

You'll find that there are varying levels of people with outstanding knowledge here in this field.

If you are looking for power more than anything else, consider the small jump in price up to Long Tube Headers. They literally change the LS3/L99 into a monster.

Best of luck and let us know if we can be of any further help to you.
