I would consider swapping mine out if I was able to retro the color HUD - IF I can also find a 2012 dash so I could kill two birds w/ a single stone. Really interested in seeing it.
BTW - Agree w/ OP's #2. Didn't know if it was because I did Ofer's kit that mine didn't dim properly. Seems like I'm always adjusting.
