I had a problem at just 1000 miles with the adjustment mechanism being set wrong. A new cover and friction plate sorted it.
I have the original cover/pressure plate in my garage - at some point I want to see if the adjustment mechanism can be correctly reset.
If I went aftermarket I would go multiplate - maybe the Quartermaster setup Russ has on the Fusion of Ideas car or Tilton full carbon. Good mass and intertia savings to be had that way. Makes the engine more revvy and responsive.
