If you compare all the body panels between the concept and the (pre-)production cars, almost everything is different.
Contrary to what others said I do not think that it is only the back end and the roof height that are different.
E.g. if you look at the car from the front, the production car's front end looks significantly more narrow and tall while the concept is wide and low.
Another example: The distance from the door to the front wheel arch looks much shorter on the production cars (it may not be shorter in absolute terms but it seems to be compared to other dimensions).
All this together somehow for me makes the difference between a design that immediately fascinates when you see it (concept) and a much more regular, common looking car. Just to avoid any misunderstanding, I still like the production shape but it's just missing that little extra 'something.
