for what its worth, i went from stock 3.45s to 3.91s and 1st gear IS QUICK (but then again im also running tires that are also smaller in diameter/circumference than stock. From 275/40/20s to 335/30/20s so that alsoi plays into the equation).
I haven't driven a 4.11 car yet. But judging by what im experiencing, the 1-2 shift is gonna be really quick. |
It is really quick - it's awesome. Personally, I think it's actually easier to get a strong launch with - you can leave with less RPM but still avoid a bog. You have to pay special attention not to be too aggressive on the 1-2 because it's easy to just spin all the way through second if you give her a strong power shift on the street.
