Personally I would at least put on the basic TA. They are pretty cheap and easy to put on with no alignment required. If you look at the difference from the factory TA to any of the aftermarket TA you'll know it can't do anything but help.

Thanks for the info, that's good advice and exactly what I think I'll do. I had wondered if the track prep might contribute to just enough extra grip to promote wheel hop over the dust pebbles on normal roads. Ssooch, it's good to hear you can tell a difference even off the track also. That's what I was hoping to hear!
