I'm hoping to hit somewhere around 220... To my knowledge, the record for a 5th Gen stands currently at 204.98.
That was the MTI car out of Atlanta... Twin Turbo's feeding a supercharger... It was just a bit over 1000 RWHP... I think 1050 IIRC... They say it takes 1000 RWHP to go 200 in the standing mile...
I'm also considering the Open road Race in West Texas... it's around 52 miles one way on a public highway, closed for the race...It starts in one town and you race to the other town... Eat lunch, do whatever, and then race back... They have the cars classed, and I would be in the unlimited...
There is one stretch where the unlimiteds are passing a speed gun at or well over 200.... That would be a blast...
