The paddle shifters are cool to play with but that's about it. They are not F1 shifters. If your in the drivers seat looking to shift and 6000 rpms, you'll hit the stock rev-limiter setting. The RPMs are several hundred RPMs off compared to the RPM gauge. Tampa tuning can make them a better product on your car, but they are not made to shift like you see on TV in F1 series cars.
What I like on the camaros is one hand is for up shift and the other is down shift. On the corvette I tune, either hand can shift up of down and I don't like it as much.
