OP, I have been doing A TON of research and talking to turners and owners from both S/C and N/A schools of thought...

The consensus seems to be N/A is way more costs involved to attain reliable/durable higher power levels. I agree with vadar, from a cost standard, it is way cheaper to go with a stock SC kit to get to your power goals while still keeping the drive ability/reliability.

I myself am on the fence between the new Hellion TT kit or going with a new block (427 cid) from Texas Speed for N/A...the later being a great foundation for SC but far less in instant power gains.
