Well they try to choose the car that's made the biggest impact on the market and is a substantial improvement. I'm not sure the F-type's been hyped up quite as much as the C7. Pretty car, but I think Corvette edges it out in popularity especially in North America.
Actually having looked at the list a second time, I didn't notice CLA on there. That could be a contender even if it is kind of a dumb product.
