...lol...It's not the end of the world...In fact, I would bet there are more V-8s running on regular than you would think...These aren't Porsches or Ferrarris...lol...
If you notice a ping on regular, then damage may occur to the engine over time...and higher octane is recommended...
As far as the pumps go, you're gonna get some regular from the hose if that's what the guy ahead of you used...lol...
If your car runs fine on regular, have at it....Maybe not getting all you could for performance, but if it's enough for some, no biggie...Your car isn't gonna blow up if a tank of regular is put in accidently, they are made to run on all grades...
Just sayin', I wouldn't do it, but if it happened for whatever reason, no big deal...
