I have not seen any published 1/4 mi or even 0 to 60 mph times quicker with the L99. This month's Motor Trend showed an LS3 doing 0 to 60 mph in a scant 4.5 seconds. That right there is quicker than any 0 to 60 times I have seen in any magazine for the automatic. Furthermore, there have been no published times of the automatic equaling the 13.0 times of the manual, the automatics usually running about 13.2, which is about 1 to 2 car lengths.

8 out 10 of the quickest 1/4 mi times are LS3's. Read the threads. And as for tuning out your AFM, it's not realistic. Less than 1/10 of 1 percent of Camaro owners will get a tune. So at the end of the day, the L99 is slower 0 to 60 mph as well as the 1/4 mi.
