I did purchase the preformed carpet from Classic Industries so I will go au naturale and let the door sills and console hold it in place. As for covering all of the metal with POR15, I plan on finishing the job. My daughter came home so I had to take a break.
The pads I'm using are the stock replacements from Classic Industries that are made from the same material as roofing shingles. I decided to just lay them in place except for the 2 under the driver and passenger seats that are prone to movement. I will tack then in place with a little adhesive.
Would it be overkill to use Dynamat with the the OEM pads?
