So car is back in the shop for hopefully the last time for the shutter issue. Took them 2 weeks to flush the fluid and was told to drive it a minimum of 250 miles and to report back if the problem continued (it did). They are now replacing the torque convertor.



I have some hesitation as they reported contaminants in the fluid which to me means metal. The 1-2 shift has also been brutal in stop and go traffic (rpms will go up and then it will finally shift very roughly, enough to make the car shake). Really hoping this is as simple as replacing the TC and all is better but I have doubts.
